Lisa Maurer MD

Dr. Lisa Maurer has been a physician partner with Emergency Medicine Specialists since 2011 when she moved back home to the Milwaukee area after finishing school at the University of MN and residency at George Washington University. She recently completed the ACEP Reimbursement Fellowship. She serves as an officer for the Wisconsin Chapter of ACEP and is a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society Council on Legislation. At the national level, she is a member of several ACEP and EDPMA committees and is Chair of the Emergency Medicine Business Coalition, EMBC. She is most interested in the intersection of health care financing and health care delivery systems, and she enjoys working to affect policy in ways that allow physicians to provide the best care possible.
